The GGU Stephen Machin Senior Stableford was held at Haggs Castle Golf Club on Wednesday 11th September. This event is an 18 hole Stableford competition.
Congratulations to Peter McGlyn of Deaconsbank GC who is this year's Senior Stableford Champion. Peter won the title with a total of 39 stableford points.
Class 1 winner was Daniel Love of Cawder GC with 38 points.
Class 2 winner was James Campbell of Haggs Castle with 35 points.
Class 3 winner was Derek Taylor of Haggs Castle with 36 points.
Many thanks to the 108 players who supported the event, and to our hosts at Haggs Castle for the coutesy and presenting the course in fine condition. The friendly and scenic deer on the first fairway was also a nice touch.
