The GGU Glasgow Open Championship took place at Gailes Links on Sunday 24th August.
This event is a 36th hole Strokeplay competition.
The weather was overcast for much of the day with a hint of drizzle at times, but it did manage to brighten up later in the afternoon. The golf course was in great condition.
Congratulations to the new Glasgow Open champion Andrew J Steven of Easter Moffat Golf Club (pictured) who had two rounds of 70 and 67 for a total of 137. Andrew becomes the first player from the Easter Moffat club to win the prestigious title.
In second place was last year's champion Scott Crichton of Leven Thistle with 139, and in third place Andrew MacPherson of Bishopbriggs also on 139.
