The GGU Seniors Championship was held at Gailes Links on Wednesday 4th May 2022.
Established in 1892, Gailes Links is part of the prestigious Glasgow Golf Club. The club has hosted 32 International competitions since 1927 and was an Open Championship Qualifying course four times since 2014.
There were a total of 147 competitiors for the competition. The day started with a bit of a drizzle, but by around 11.00am it had started to brighten up, but with a fresh breeze .
The golf course was in great condition, with many favourable reports by the players
The winner of the scratch prize and Scratch Champion for 2022 was David Gravil of Haggs Castle with a score of 71.
The winner of the handicap prize and Handicap Champion was Norman Logie of St Mungo Golf Club with a score of 67.

Players must be members of a Golf club affiliated to the Glasgow Golf Union.
