The GGU Strokeplay Championship was held at Cawder Golf Club on Sunday 17th July.
There was some rain initially, but it turned into a warm sunny day.
Congratulations to the winner and GGU Strokeplay Champion 2022 Alan Waugh of Cowglen Golf Club with a 2 round score of 140 (on countback).
In second place also with a score of 140 was Clark Nelson of Glasgow GC, and in third place Blair Dalgliesh of Ralston GC on 142.
Many thanks to all the competitors, and to our host club Cawder, both for the excellent condition of the course, and the catering team.
The first 16 placed players will now contest the GGU Matchplay Championship starting on the 19th July at The Bishopbriggs Golf Club.
