The Glasgow Open was held on the 6th of September at a gloriously sunny Pollok Golf Club. The outstanding weather was more than matched by the condition of the golf course which got great praise from the players. The top class field which included many county and international standard players enjoyed a great occasion. 

The Glasgow Golf Union would like to thank Pollok Golf Club and all their team for hosting the event and providing the superb backdrop for a hugely successful championship.

The event was won by Callum Macaulay with Gordon Sangster the runner up. Brendan McKenna, of the host club and the reigning champion, put up a stout defence of his title and finished joint third.
