Open Youths’ and Area Team Championship
Unfortunately the Open Youths’ & Area Team competition, due to be played at Ralston on Saturday 13th September, had to be cancelled because of the prevailing weather conditions. Despite the efforts of the Ralston greens staff the rain which had fallen prior to the competition rendered the main greens unplayable and flooded two fairways.
The competition will not be rescheduled this year. Glasgow Golf Union apologies for the inconvenience caused to those who had entered. Hopefully normal service will be resumed in September 2009!
