Scottish Area Team Championship vs North (A)
Glasgow Golf Union played their final match of the series on Sunday 23rd September 2007 at Moray Golf Club.
In an exciting and keenly contested match, the match finished all square at 4½ matches each.
The morning foursome went the way of the North, giving them a 2 to 1 lead at lunchtime.
The afternoon singles were closely contested with Glasgow winning them by 3½ to 2½.
The match which was played in an excellent spirit ended with the Glasgow Team Captain, Peter Jamieson, in the last match winning the eighteenth hole to make the overall result:-
North 4½ v Glasgow 4½
The standard of play of both teams matched the excellence of both the Course and the weather.
