West of Scotland Boys Championship

The West of Scotland Boys Strokeplay Championship is hosted by the GGU every fifth year. Monday 10 July was our turn and it was held at Bishopbrigg, unfortunately in heavy rain. The course and the greens had a lot of surface water and it was decided to reduce the competition from 36 holes to 18.  The winner was Allen Woodhouse from East Kilbride with a fine 67, 3 strokes clear of Keiran McAlliater of Easter Moffat and Chris McMillan of Bishopbriggs. Full scores can be viewed HERE

The leading 16 players go forward to Matchplay, the 4 rounds being played over Tuesday and Wednesday.  The draw can be viewed HERE
