Glasgow Golf Club: Gailes
Links: 6903 Yards, 18 holes, Par 71.
Designed by the famous Willie Park of Mussleburgh, Gailes was opened for play in 1892. The course occupies a most favourable stretch of links between Troon and Irvine and the design although simple is exceptionally challenging. The course continues to be used as an Open Championship qualifier, which is a testament to Willie Park’s design.
Facilities: Catering, Caddy Hire, Club Hire, Buggy Hire, Extensive practice facilities, Pro shop.
Visitors: Visitors and visiting parties are welcome. All arrangements must be pre-booked through the Secretary. Dress code must be adhered to.

Directions: Gailes is situated south of Irvine and North of Troon just off the Newhouse junction of the A78. Access by car is advised.
