Glasgow Gailes Course
6903 Yards, 18 holes, Par 71
The Glasgow Gailes Course is the second course of the Glasgow Golf Club. Designed by the famous Willie Park of Mussleburgh, Gailes was opened for play in 1892. The course occupies a most favourable stretch of links between Troon and Irvine and the design although simple is exceptionally challenging. The course continues to be used as an Open Championship qualifier, which is a testament to Willie Park’s design.
